ashley is a birthday girl

I'm finallllllly 18 and its feels great, doesnt feel any different than being any other previous age I've graced but it actually means I'm legal now.

Legal to do everything I probably won't end up doing anyway but the point is I can if I chose to, haha

it's been fantastic so far - my grandfather and I share this day and he's here from the states so i'm pretty stoked about that! my godfather and godson have also come down from england to celebrate with me. how spoilt am i?

i plan to eat big and get stuffed tonight. mum said I sounded like a 4 year old ordering an icecream cake but who cares! haha. i love icecream and i love cake. there's nothing wrong with mixing them.

and facebook, holy crap. i didnt know a person could get so many wall posts in one day. its great!

i got wonderful cards and well wishes and thats all i need really! i'm blessed to have my family and friends around me! i mean my best friend who's in italy managed to call me too!

i tell you, my day has been made by everyone. i dont need anything else!

okay, maybe some sanity but thats it

well sort of, haha.

martynne is back more like it, which means i get to use her camera - which i did!
i've taken a million pics because quite frankly i've been dormant since january.
i'll start sifting through them and start editing a couple that seem devArt worthy.



camera savings aren't exactly - great as of yet.

got a job with a photo studio though so im happy about that, should be starting sometime next week im told, yay! wish me luck - im in it for the experience. getting paid to do something i love and getting to use awesome equipment, sounds like a plan to me.



drums are going great - its a challenge which makes it even better, i love it.

oh, and on another note, one of my best friends nick has finally gotten his first song up on his myspace. we're all proud of him. he did everything on this song. so go check him out!

wow, i feel like i'm being spoiled.

one hundred watchers and i feel like i've won the lottery, why? because in it's own right its an accomplishment to me.

i have a thing for thanking you guys because i really do mean it. i'm most grateful!



now for the rambles like i promised.
this weekend was pretty fun i admit, i've made a deal with myself to document every living moment with my friends and family with a million pictures and videos.

well, not quite every moment but something close to.

as a result i've captured countless hilarious moments already this month and i can't wait to see what this year brings.

for one, i decided to try and play drums. ambitious right?

right.

but so much fun. i plan to keep that up, seriously. i get to make noise in a constructive way =] i look forward to learning more everyday.

i also had burger king, heh.....guilty of eating junk food but i ate it happily

music music, i still dont have itunes on the new comp which is a killer but i have been working around it. Take a listen to anything by 'A Fine Frenzy' - that music is haunting, in a good way of course.

i'm always on the lookout for new songs so, when i remember or find some i'll be sure to tell.
